Someone on this list recommended "Export Pages" in the Graphics Tool (Mac).
I've had very good luck with that. It usually produces significantly
smaller PDFs and has true blacks instead of gray scale. So far I haven't
noticed any glitches in the output, but perhaps others have?

Export Pages shares the same issue that (Win) Export To PDF does: you have
to export each part one-at-a-time. I have mitigated this by automating
(Page View->Graphics Tool->Export Pages->OK Button) in a single keyboard
macro. Combined with another macro that advances to the next part (or
score) this makes for a fairly efficient workflow to export all parts.
