Yes, this is the deal-breaker for me. No company is trustworthy, especially about their future, and Steinberg's continued use of user-punishing protection is unacceptable. I don't use any of their protected products. Plus, they're not a US company, so in this political era and with changes both here and in the EU, there's no telling what will happen to cross-border authorization. I'm staying away until they change that policy.
