Some of these errors look benign, but if your windows have no decorations (title bar, 
etc.), I'll bet twm is crashing. From one of my earlier posts (based on help I got 
when I ran into similar problems):

This obvious catches a lot of people. Anybody have a suggestion of how to get it into 
the FAQ (especially the recommendation to install OroborOSX if using Mac OS X?)
