um, the reason that you got no replies to your first post is, I guess, that it was too obscure ... (what is "silc" or "silc shell"?? where is a quation mark?? ...) actually, i tried to respond, but felt lost. so, please describe your problem so that we can see what your problem is, as Benjamin requested in his reply. in particular, you'll need to tell your fink version.
