No, it works fine on OS 10.4.11, but fails on 10.5.6 (maybe for all 
10.5*).

Meanwhile, I also tried the instructions on

$ sudo /usr/bin/cpan

$ install MacOSX::File

$ install Bundle::CPAN

However, I still get the same errors. I am now close to the point to 
accept that psync will work never again on my system. Or does anyone have 
another final idea?
