Ok great thanks a ton. I was wondering if I can just bypass the validation
check by commenting out the validation code in installationcheck?

And btw, I got the daily digest of this mailing list today, and I'm kinda
new to mailing lists. I realised that my email was shown wide in the open to
everyone who has subscribed to the list, making me an easy target of
spammers. Is there really no way of getting help without getting your email
address displayed publicly? All the anti-spam measures I take like using
temporary emails and all are wasted if my real email address is leaked once.

Also, I subscribed to the mailing list using another email address (a
temporary, deletable one). Is there any way I can continue this discussion
with that email so that each reply of mine doesn't require moderator
approval?
