I am a longtime Linux user and have almost never used a Mac, so please bear
with
me...it's hard enough being on a system that doesn't have a middle mouse
button,
let alone one that's doesn't (yet!) run KDE.
I am trying to figure out why I am getting absolutely no love from Fink. It
looks like it installed. (I can tab to get "fi" complete into "fink").
I have run the selfupdate. It apparently did.
But I haven't a clue how to further sleuth my "No packages to install" error.
I am running 10.6. Is it just that as of yet, not many packages are there? Or
did fink install _all_ the packages and is saying there are not any new ones?
Primarily, I want to install "bundle-kde" but that's apparently not available.
I tried "bundle-kde4-x11" and that didn't work.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. My end goal is to install
Quanta
Plus, which I love for web development.
