Apple's prebinding release notes
(/Developer/Documentation/ReleaseNotes/Prebinding.html) say that in
order to build a library/binary prebound, all you need to do is pass -
-prebind to ld or define the LD_PREBIND environment variable. I'm
wondering how hard it would be to to make fink build its stuff
prebound? Is there a way I can have fink add -prebind to all builds?
or a way to define LD_PREBIND for all builds?

A lot of valuable information can be found here:

http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/macosx/DeveloperTools/MachORuntime/
2rt_mach-o_overview/Executing_Mach_O_Files.html

Furthermore it is not as simple as simply adding --prebind. Many
pieces of software are not yet fixed to fully support prebinding, much
less proper relocation nor 'reentrancy'.
