Because fink normally does update-all in alphabetical order, and g comes before l, it tries to do something weird. I'm fairly certain libgettext3 is ready to be moved to stable and old gettext moved to libs/, and then stable packages can be updated when ready.May I be of some help here to see if it works or not? (My packages are ready for libgettext3).
