For the record, I was doing some tests a bit ago, and when installing 
tex4ht with the latest texlive-base installed, I had to modify tex4ht's 
BuildDepends from libkpathsea4 to libkpathsea6 for the same reason: file 
conflict (/sw/share/info/kpathsea.info) between texlive-base and 
libkpathsea4.  The solution there was to locally upgrade tex4ht to 
libkpathsea6.  Not sure how applicable it'll be to all the various 
programs that still BuildDepend on libkpathsea4.
