Current mftrace's dependencies don't consider texlive. So users can't install it with texlive currently (tetex only). 2. [libkpathsea4] should add Conflicts: libkpathsea6 Replaces: libkpathsea6 FYI: libkpathsea6 already conflicts/replaces libkpathsea4. I don't think libkpathsea4 should replace texlive-base. (but if it's indispensable for something I'm ok) 3. [texlive-base] Added Replaces: libkpathsea4 just in case.
