I got fink to download and install xforms by changing the line
CompileScript: ;
in the xforms info description to
CompileScript: echo "nothing to do"
[The solo semicolon broke the shell invoked for the compile command.]
Now I guess I just have to be patient for LyX. If you know how to pass
this information along to the maintainers, it might be a quick fix for
woes others are having.
