Actually, I sent an email to the texinfo and carbon-emacs maintainers
about this a couple of months ago, but I think they've been
understandably busy with other things. When the Jaguar dust settles, it
would be nice to have updated versions of both these packages (although
the latest version of emacs from the Savannah CVS is currently giving
me path-related problems ... it won't find xdvi when you invoke it with
the -sourceposition option ... any clues on this would be appreciated).
