Hello everyone,
Boy, I really hope there is a quick solution to this. After compiling gimp2.2 for 1.5 hours, I get the following error when I try to execute gimp:
"Gimp requires FreeType version 2.1.7 or later. Installed version is 0.10. Please upgrade to 2.1.7 or later"
So, I installed freetype 2.1.9, but the error persists. Do I have to recompile the package from scratch, or is there a quicker solution? Or is this something that needs to be addressed by the maintainer?
