I tried renaming /sw/var/lib/apt/lists/ _sw_fink_dists_unstable_main_binary-darwin-powerpc_Packages, followed by fink scanpackages. sudo apt-get update returns the same error message(s) as above, referring to the /sw/var/lib/apt/lists/ _sw_fink_dists_unstable_main_binary-darwin-powerpc_Packages list entry. I've turned automatic fetching of binaries off in fink configure, but I'm concerned about the underlying cause of the error.
