I love this idea, it's similar in effect to how omniweb groups it's
history. If you were to double-click epicware.com's group history
without expanding the list it would take you to the epicware homepage
whereas expanding the list would result in further history links for
visited epicware pages.

Right now I have so many buddies that use Fire, Trillian, and seperate
individual clients at the same time that I have had to begin grouping
these buddies into their own. It would be great if you could
double-click the buddy's group itself to initiate chat with the
preferred account.

Also since I have grouped these buddy's it has drawn my attention to the
fact that Fire won't allow you to put those groups into one another. For
example having the ability to create a group named "Bob Smith" and then
moving Bob's group into my buddies group or my co-workers group.

If this UberBuddy system is ever considered, I think that this grouping
issue would go hand in hand with it in a lot of ways, and if not, it
would be a nice extra level of control & flexibility over your list just
by itself in these wayward, confusing times of multi-protocall buddy
access.
