Is anyone looking at why selecting a buddy's name from the dock menu
fails to bring up a chat window?
Just for giggles, I removed the buddy submenu and found that it
worked normally, so it must be something about selecting an item that
is a submenu. I'm thinking that this may be "correct" behavior for a
menu item that is a submenu, so I wrote a quick hackaround, adding a
"Send Message To..." menu item to the buddy submenu. Its a very
simple (5 lines) change, but if a real fix isn't looming on the
horizon, I'd like to propose that something of the sort be added
until a fix does appear. Let me know if I should submit this, and to
whom I should submit it.
On an unrelated note: Majordomo seems to be dropping some of my
mails. I responded to Christopher Ross' inquiry about transparency
at about 4 PM CST on Wednesday, and I've yet to get the message.
