Dean is 100% correct in what he is saying. I ran into this problem a while
ago. If you search this list and the Firebird users list, you will see that
one other suggestion provided was to preface IpcName in the firebird.conf
file with "Global\" so it will be IpcName = "Global\FIREBIRD". I couldn't
get this fix to work and had to give every user for my application the same
rights that are listed below. You might have better luck. Once a user has
the "Create Global Objects" permission, they don't need admin rights
anymore.
