Ah, well as far as I know the dialect shouldn't make a difference there. I would sooner suspect that your old 2.0 database was 32 bit, and when you moved to a 64 bit Firebird you might have needed to back up and restore the database. Older Firebird database formats have minor differences between 32 bit and 64 bit processes (this was fixed - iirc - with Firebird 2.1). Mark -- Mark Rotteveel
