As I understand it, this is a Firefox limitation.

You could make suggestions to the Dutch translator of Firebug over on
babelzilla.

You can delete the Dutch locale from your copy of Firebug:
  Find the firefox profile you are running,
  extensions/[email protected]
  subdirectory "locale/<your language>, also remove one line from
chrome.manifest.

You might need to use the beta version, the AMO version may be has
'jar' files?
