This is pretty bad. - I open my site for the first time and firebug is disabled. I enable script and the console (which takes too many clicks, but that's a nit) - I detach the firebug window - I reload. The detached firebug window goes blank, the browser reloads my page, but firebug is disabled. So I click on the bug and a new fb window opens in the browser, but all the tabs from the detached window disappear and show up on the attached window. Clicking on these tabs opens content in the detached window. I closed the detached window, but can't close the attached window.
If I close the detached window before reloading the page, the page reloads, and fb window stays closed but the even though the fb is enabled, code on the page doesn't know that and dojo shows its own html console. When I open the fb window, the console is empty - seems nothing went there while the window was closed. I can't believe this is working as anyone intended. --ed On Apr 2, 12:27 am, John J Barton <[email protected]> wrote: > Firebug 1.4a16 is available fromhttp://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.4X. > We are getting close to beta. > > One of the issues we need feedback on is the new activation model.
