You mean the bug? I think the bug is fine, but I don't just always use
it. I have half a dozen Firefox extensions that all occasionally open
panels inside Firefox that have a close button in the upper right
corner, so I have become accustomed to clicking the button in the
upper right corner of the panel to move it out of my way (not disable
the extension completely).

Personally, I don't mind having a button that closes and disables
Firebug for the current domain, I just think the icon used for it, the
position it was placed in and the implications of that were not fully
thought through before that decision was made. I'm still not sold on
the activation model as a whole, but getting the close button out of
the upper right corner of Firebug and putting the minimize button
there would go a long way toward me not caring about getting used to
it anymore.
