Let me tell you what is useless: your attitude. Open source is all about community, identity, reputation, sharing and commitment. This is your first message in the Firebug group, and as far as I can see you are not interested in any of those values.
Firebug Lite will probably *never* be *exactly* like Firebug for FF for technical (platform differences) and human (lack of developers working on the project) reasons. Even so, we are working hard to make Firebug (for Firefox and Lite) work remotely, independent of platform. We are also working to bring more advanced features to the Chrome version, like a full JS debugger. So, you may see at lot of improvements coming on both Firebug and Firebug Lite in the recent future. Sorry for being a little bit harsh with you, but such attitude makes me very sad. If everybody starts to thinking open source as "cheap software" there will be not a single open source software at all. On the other hand, if everybody starts to realize that it is all about "community work", that even a small help can make a huge difference, then we'll see a revolution in the software development as we never seen in our entire history. Firebug Lite is not good enough? Help us making it so! peace, Pedro Simonetti. 2010/9/5 runrunforest <[email protected]>: > The firebug lite is more than useless now. is it right developers > haven't got enough time or because of chrome limitation ? > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Firebug" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/firebug?hl=en. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
