> in both the example pages that I sent, there are no changing elements > (not even animated gif). > Having a second look at your videos I saw, that there are elements with classes including "interclue", which I didn't have. So I did a quick search and found out, that this is another Firefox extension. And this extension is changing the website while hovering links. So Interclue is causing this behavior.
My fault that I have to confess, that I did not know about the HTML > Panel options. You're not the only one. We already had a long discussion<http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=3457>about how to improve their visibility. > Effectively, I unchecked the "Scroll changes into > View", and it now seems to work fine. > Great. You could further help us by creating a new issue<http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/entry>mentioning, that highlighting changes, expanding them and scrolling to them should be blocked while inspecting plus adding a little test case with step by step instructions including the installation of Interclue. As soon as that issue is done then the problem you described should not appear anymore. > Question: Is that option checked by default? 'cause I do not remember > activating it... > No, it is off by default<http://code.google.com/p/fbug/source/browse/branches/firebug1.9/defaults/preferences/firebug.js?spec=svn12045&r=12020#68> . > Anyhow, thanks for your support and patience. > Thanks for your report.
