As the Firebug homepage states <https://getfirebug.com/>, Firebug development and maintainance is discontinued. You were obviously automatically switched to the Firefox DevTools <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools> (using a Firebug theme). There is more info about this at https://hacks.mozilla.org/2016/12/firebug-lives-on-in-firefox-devtools/. There's also a migration guide for Firebug users <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Migrating_from_Firebug> to make the transition a bit easier. If you don't like the look and feel, I suggest you have a look at bug 991806 <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=991806> (listing all gaps between Firebug and the DevTools) and bug 1263889 <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1263889> (listing Firebug theme improvements). And if you miss anything that is not mentioned there yet, file a new bug and mark it as blocker of 991806 or 1263889.
