Sounds like this listener is actually looking for a shomiti ethernet tap.
They are available from www.shomiti.com and the product is called a century
tap.They are great for FDX ethernet sniffing, basically allows you to tap
send on one port, and receive on the other. I dont know of anyone else that
makes these taps. We keep a bunch around here, and use them often.

Ok stating the obvious. Perhaps I was not clear in my
description. Parhaps what I should have said was a "passive ethernet
tap".
