Okay, let me restate my premise. "Mixing data and voice on a single T1 line to a public telco carrier is IMHO not a good idea." This is based on my experiences with these circuits and associated carriers. The problem is seldom on the users end. You are right, there is lots of good equipment with very flexible options for use at the user end. It is usually related to what the telco provider is capable of doing especially when you need advanced services on these circuits. If I had a dollar for all the hours I've spent on the phone trying to resolve problems with these circuits, I'd be one very rich guy.
I did notice that you didn't answer any of the questions I posed in my last message, should I take that as a no to each? ;-]
