Carl, #Does anyone know if this is a valid limitation? Our #DNS administrator can see no way around it and I don't #know enough about DNS to know otherwise. By design, a DNS server that is authoritative for a domain (secondary or primary) will never forward queries for that domain. Whenever you have a DNS question the best reference is DNS and BIND Third Edition from O'Reilly.
