I can understand why they do it. PR. When they start to market the
firewall, they can point to the contest and say: "Look, we had a
contest with a prize of $1000, and still no hacker manage to get
inside"
And the reason that they can do that, is because the hacker have to
work quite hard to get a understanding about the new firewall in just
8 days.
