Wesley didn't receive his special psychic netmask abilities with his CCNA.
That was a special one time offer so he has to use the ifconfig/ipconfig
command like the rest of us.

The ICMP address mask request and reply are actually meant to be used by a
diskless workstation to get it's own subnetmask or in conjuction with DHCP
or BOOTP.  You probably won't be allowed to do this remotely if you are not
on the same network (unless they allow all ICMP traffic).  You could always
ask the systems admin if you just need the subnet mask for one box.
