While the great tome of knowledge, "Building Internet Firewalls," is a good
place to start such a list/database, it is far from a complete list. I was
actually pondering the same idea a few weeks back, however I lack the web
development expertise for such a task. This also ties together with an idea
that I talked with the securityfocus people a few months ago, a detailed
ports list/database. There are a lot of them out there, but very few
complete ones with detailed info such as links to places/websites with
detailed info (similiar to NetworkICE's list), general rating on threat
(like on Robert Graham's list), etc.
If you need any help with this, let me know. It'd be a great resource if
planned out properly (especially for newbies).
