I run a windowsnt workstation, Pentium 100 with 24 meg of ram and a 10 Mb
connection(cable modem). No problems. Which btw, I run winroute on this
box with blackice also installed. Anyone out there have any problems with
this personal firewall? I have been running it for a couple of years with
no problems. Only drawback to this software is the logging stinks. That is
why I have blackice for the better logging. I am curious to see how secure
this nickel (winroute)firewall really is...

I'm running an OpenBSD FW on an old Sparc 5/110 with a 10 Mb connection. No
problems.

I have run a 3Mb connection through a 486/50 with 8MB ram, no noticable
slowing due to the firewall.
so your slowest machine (unless it's <486) will be able to deal with your
DSL without a problem.
