We have two a health foundation for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels too. The Portuguese Water Dog Foundation is exemplary and is cited as one of the best ever by the AKC for the work they have done in eradicating health problems. The AKC also has a Canine Health Foundation which is extraordinary and would be a great example of the kind of work done in the veterinary field for animals. I am not aware of foundations done for horses but I'm sure there are others. My primary experience over the last 20 years has been with Lipizzans and several breeds of dogs.
