Today, Mel & Joanne got in the mail an envelope from the NFHR containing an
order form. -- On checking out the order form, I was stunned to see that
the
NFHR has published a "book" called . . . . .
FJORD HORSE OWNERS HANDBOOK
THE FJORDHORSE HANDBOOK
HMMM.....there are two words that are identical in the title: "Fjord Horse"
and "handbook."
They are both handbooks, and there certainly is no copyright on that kind of
title.
I doubt you can copyright "Fjord Horse."
I'd say you are stuck.
By the way, I think the NFHR book has been out there for several years. If
it has not destroyed the sales for Carol's much more expensive book by now,
I doubt it will do so.
