.................there are days where I guess Gustav feels like we should just canter and he will decide we should do it 'now' which of course I discourage, because he needs to wait for my directions not make the choice himself. During my last lesson my instructor kept having me canter at the same spot (or close to it) so Gus kept thinking every time we got there he should canter! LOL... I just started to seriously work on Bjorn's canter in December, and ever since then, he thinks that any time we ride, he gets to canter.
