For those of you who are grinding flax seed for horses (or for yourself),
Cuisinart has brought out a large capacity (looks like about a cup, though I
have not tried putting a cup of seed in it yet, so not sure it can actually
grind that much) coffee grinder.

The particular beauty of this grinder is that the cup can be pulled off and
emptied, and washed (including the blades). If you are grinding the flax
seed for yourself, you can pull the cup off, put on a plastic lid, and put
the whole thing in the refrigerator. It allows grinding enough seed for
several days.

The pull-off cup also means flax seed does not gum up the safety mechanism
in the lid.....which stops the thing from grinding until you have cleaned
it.

Not a cheap grinder, but it makes a BIG difference in ease of use over my
old smaller grinder that you have to turn upside down to empty, and then
scrape the ground seed out of the blades with your fingers.
