My mare rubs her tail when she is in heat. I have tried numerous things to 
stop this with no solution. Recently someone posted that they found if their 
was 
dirt between the 2 side of the udder this caused tail rubbing, it isnt the 
cause for my mare. Her tail grows in the winter and she rubs it and breaks the 
hair during the summer.
