I have to totally agree with Joe here! If you are going to walk, fine... but do it without a vehicle attached to the horse. Yes, put LOTS of miles on your horse ground driving - before hitching ANYTHING to him! Once you reach the point of actually hitching to a cart, you need to be in that cart so you are in a position to control the horse. Please don't get in too much of a hurry... it is just not worth it!
