This message is from: "jgayle" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Speaking of poisonous cherry leaves, the neighbor had his yard sprayed with that grass mixture that comes in trucks. The driver shot the remainder out into my horse field, including a washer, for about fifty feet. I did not see it until the third day and the horses had obviously been nuzzling and eating? it. I raked as best I could and then called all the agencies that are supposed to know about poisons. Nothing. Called various spray companies and learned they use a hardwood base and a "fertilizer" that breaks down quickly. Finally reached the driver who said it had "hardwoods" in it but he "doubted" it would hurt them????? He did not offer to help clean it up either.
So far no noted problems. Dangerous world out there. Jean Jean Walters Gayle Aberdeen, WA Author:The Colonel's Daughter Occupied Germany 1946-49 $20 PO Box 104 Montesano, WA 98563
