and again from the CD-List.....thought someone might be interested. I
hate meadowbrooks, but some seem to like them, and if this one is nice, its
a
 good price. Lisa Pedersen

OK, OK, hate is a strong word.......but this cold is making me CRABBY.
For all who wrote and asked me WHY I do " not prefer " meadowbrooks, its
easy. For years I wanted one to drive with the Fjords, they looked so
beautiful with their natural wood, and fenders.....BUT, once I got one ( new,
amish made, all the bells and whistles ) I RODE in it. Big mistake. I was
sitting down under my horses butt, and had to lean over just to see where the
heck I was going. To make matters worse, the seat of a meadowbrook, unlike a
road type cart, sit on the shafts, making for a most bouncy, uncomfortable
ride. I was used to my higher riding Buckeye type carts, and a softer ride. I
rode in my new meadowbrook, 2 times, and sold it back at auction. For those
of you with Meadowbrooks, you may never know what you are missing till you
try sitting up above your horses butt, and enjoy a smooth drive. Just my not
so humble opinion of course. Remember I WANTED one for years too.....
Lisa Pedersen BTW, we LOVE our 4-wheeled, Bird-In-Hand Flyer. I highly
reccomend them for the 4-wheeled single or pairs. Its finding them, for sale,
Fjord size..... ; O
