They will NOT register cross-breds.At present there is a movement working to make some changes to our bi-laws(in this regard) which will be similar to the NFHR and some members are toying with the thought of shhhhhhhh...'Evaluation' . At any rate we also do DNA now and in the past have always blood-typed for registration....Don't kid yourself there is cross-breeding happening in the good ole US of A too..Those of us here in the Great White North who cringe at the idea or don't even like to hear the words spoken out loud are just as passionate about the subject as many Americans. The CFHA is going into a transition phase with (hopefully) positive results. Past active members have become complacent about initiating/inviting new ideas & hence membership participation has been negatively affected.....But there is light on the horizon & there isl hope & positive changes will hopefully prevail.
