We obviously can't keep those two together. What a dilema...wonder if
keeping Storm is worth the bother.

Hi Sue,
He's awfully young, he'll grow up someday. As far as his pushyness,
make it an everyday habit to keep him minding you. It doesn't need to
be an "official training" thing, just part of the routine. One thing
that I found works great to keep our Fjords reminded about who is boss,
is picking out stalls! Our stalls open directly into their paddock. I
used to wait to clean out when they were busy with their hay. Now I go
out when they are bored and they watch! I open up the stall doors and
ask them to not come in, to step aside if they get between me and the
wheel barrow etc, etc. It's actually pretty funny to watch, but it
keeps them both listening to me and moving where I ask them. Geilo
especially is just dying to go into Osa's stall and check out her food
bin. He'll take a step forward and look at me to see if I'm paying
attention. If he doesn't here "back" he'll take another step forward
but then I ask for two steps back. We all enjoy our "game", but the
results are well mannered horses.
Good luck, and enjoy today.
Jane
