simply chopping a frozen tank with ice, does nothing to encourage them to drink alot of it... I agree 100%. How would you like to have a nice glass of iced tea to sip on while you're out shoveling snow? Studies have shown warming the water to 50 degrees significantly increases water intake. I get so mad when I go to farms and see the people chopping holes in the ice covered tanks where it would be no trouble at all to drop in a tank heater. Steve
