One more post on "lutefisk"............we eat it every Christmas Eve. I bake it in the oven and serve it with mashed potatoes, drawn butter and white sauce with allspice. You put a "glob" of the whole mess on your fork, pop it in your mouth and "swill" it down with a big gulp of ROOT BEER! It is absolutely fantastic.....the opinion of one "half breed" Norwegian with the maiden name of "Blood" I was raised on lutefisk and have since raised four strapping boys on the stuff.......They wouldn't miss Christmas Eve lutefisk.
