guess which of 12 foals had been imprinted and which had not (they'd all
been handled daily).  Nobody could tell.

Gail, I question that study as being conclusive.. maybe the key to their
finding was the 6 month age factor, it seems to me that any of them go
through a kind of offish spell for a while early on but once they're past
that phase I believe there is a marked difference in a horse that's been
handled considerably. Of course I realize too it would depend on the
individual horse as some are more personable than others. I wonder too how
many they studied? Do you recall the resource for that theory?
Why aren't we outside riding! It's raining here but I'll bet you've got
