I have a friend who s horse colics the first of every month. We don't know
why and have tried most everything. What keeps the food moving is beet pulp
and she is using fast track and these changes have helped her mare. The beet
pulp is like a horsey oatmeal with the food value of good quality timothy
hay. there is lots of info on it on the internet.

I am using it now because I have a older horse that doesn't winter well and
it keeps the weight on and keeps him warmer and sticks to his ribs.
