Fred, Fred, Fred, Those numbers are the BACK or SHOW numbers! They don't wear their NAMES on the tag, but a NUMBER! So the judge sees horse # 33, who is Prydarson, and Horse # 99 who is Smedsmo, etc. So Judge A ranks them so, 1st is #40, 2nd is # 11, 3rd is #33 and so forth. Judge B Ranks them differently: 1st is #33, 2nd is #99, etc. etc. etc. Then I suppose those rankings are assigned a certain value, and the computer averages it to come out with the results, or final placings. Am I on the right track, Mike?
