This message is from: "Cynthia Madden" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Starfire Chiron (aka Teddy) went to his first pleasure show this weekend. We participated as a training opportunity without expectations but Teddy did very well! He placed 2nd in Presentation with my oldest harness and in a metal cart but the judge gave him points for his impulsion and extended trot and we beat much nicer turnouts. I was immensely surprised and pleased. He also won the Maiden Pleasure Working Class and took 3rd in the Championship class. We also took 3rd in Reinsmanship. I was very proud of my boy! The judge really liked his gaits and gave me some ideas for improving his cart's balance, etc. Overall, we did so much better than we anticipated. It was a very small frist show by our club but Teddy, as usual, took it all in stride!
