But since there were quite a few real ads for real animals and goods there, I had to plug a serious security hole. Since many of you followed my instructions and used the dummy username and password I supplied, it meant your ads were vulnerable to be tampered with by anyone using the same dummy information. Therefore, I have removed the dummy user. Unfortunately, that also removed any ads that had been posted by it. I am so sorry!! Please register to get a secure username and password and repost your ads.
The response to the classifieds today has been great! I'm pretty sure I will be going ahead with making them a regular feature of the FH-L website. The installation of the final version with all the bells and whistles won't take place for a while, because the company which supplies the software is making some modifications so you will be able to use your email address as a username, and we will be able to keep the posting of ads limited to List subscribers. Before that change happens, I promise I will let you know so you can make a copy of any ads you have running with the current usernames. Once again let me offer abject apologies.
