Renegade company will send you a fitting "shell" if you want, for the cost of shipping (I think). Some Fjord feet may be too wide for them. Also, you will have to have the horse trimmed so the toes are short and the heels not high. Essentially, a good barefoot trim. Not all farriers do a good barefoot trim. We find that our horses who fit into one size at the time of trimming may not fit into that size if we allow their trim schedule to exceed six weeks. I keep some easy boots around so I have something that will work if the foot has been allowed to grow out too much. All of that said, they are a dream to put on (and take off) so I am motivated to make them work.
